Situated on a ten acre horse farm this original Cape Cod cottage housed a family that was growing from two to five during the four years of planning and construction required to add four thousand square feet. The homeowners wanted to retain the farmhouse look and a little French Country flavor without becoming too modern.

Addition includes double garage, two utility rooms on lower level, a foyer, a great room and kitchen on the first floor. Two children’s bedrooms, a bath and relocated laundry room on the second floor as well as an attic playroom.

The existing dining room was remodeled and decorated in a French Country theme using a coordinated blend of wall coverings, paint colors, light fixtures and an area rug.
