Area Renovation:
This kitchen was
originally remodeled in the 1950’s. At that time part of the
porch was enclosed to create a breakfast area. Workspace and
storage were inadequate and poorly organized. The Fisher’s
innovative design created a kitchen that was beautiful,
efficient and everything the homeowners wanted.
In the new kitchen the
sink wall was extended seven feet, creating space for a new
efficient plan. Landing space was provided on each side of the
range, the sink and the refrigerator and an island was installed
nearby for auxiliary food preparation and serving.
Proper space planning
meant moving the refrigerator adjacent to the sink to complete
the kitchen work triangle. The not often used double ovens are now near the dining room with their own landing space which
affording convenient service |
