| An
existing carport and breezeway were enclosed and the exterior
wall of the house removed to create a garage with the new entry
separated by a curved falling wall. The curve finishes in the
flooring to transition to the living area. The adjoining dining
area now has its own new bay windowed area.
A new roof was
installed and it was crafted to match the existing roof. Light
was brought into the new and existing space by finessing
skylights through the two layers of roof. A southwestern feeling
was desired, so the walls were finished with drywall mud applied
to resemble a light plaster texture. The homeowners are quite
pleased with their new space. |
