| A
great room addition suited to comfortable family living as well
as gracious entertaining served the needs of clients who move
in diplomatic circles. An oversized fireplace and seating
opposite the kitchen invite informal gathering for family and
guests.
For the colonial style
kitchen, Sierra Chica granite was selected for the island
countertop to provide a focal point for the room and remain
beautifully durable through the rigors of active family life and
entertaining. Soffits and simple raised panel styling for the
custom cherry cabinets continue the colonial styling. Handmade
French tiles on backsplash and countertop, and saltillo floor
tiles add an
appealing warmth.
The second story
addition included three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with lofts
for each of the children. This growing family needed the space
and is pleased with the efficiency of their newly remodeled
home. |
